I love, love, love having wild blackberry bushes around our house.  Love it.  There is just something so magical about heading out to the backyard and picking a snack.blackberriesconfession

    Hi Jen,
Just found your lovely blog from another website and have to say, I’m drawn to it for several reasons. You are funny and your photos are beautiful, but also because my hubby and I are looking for 10 acres in the country as well. We are city folks with two little chicks looking to get away. We still need to be near the city as well (my man’s gotta work!) but are looking forward to country life.

I can’t imagine what it will be like with bugs and wildlife. The Orkin man and I go way back! Good luck in your renovation and keep up the great blogging!

By the way, we used to live in Minnesota – lived in St. Louis Park but hung out in Uptown and Lake Calhoun alot, worked downtown Minneapolis. Loved it though and miss it sometimes.

We’ll trade you some Red Raspberry canes for your wild Black Raspberry canes. We have a ton of Red Raspberries that are just starting to ripen.
